Callen-Lorde Community Health Center: incredible resource for patients regardless of gender identity/sexuality, has locations in Chelsea, Bronx, or Brooklyn
- LGBTQ+ care, transgender care, women’s health, behavioral health, and dental health Services here: https://callen-lorde.org/our-services/ Especially helpful for transgender care, including hormone therapy and HIV/AIDS care Accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Family Health Plus, ADAP, ADAP Plus and many commercial insurance policies; co-pays sliding scale and range $20-$100
Libertas: is a great resource for survivors of torture, persecution, and domestic violence

PurpLE HealthFoundation: opens in 2021 and focuses on GBV survivors and their children
QDEP (Queer Detainee Empowerment Project)

- They specifically work with those immigrants who are detained or formerly detained to provide post-release support:
- "Post-release support, detention center visitation, direct service, and community organizing project that works with Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Queer, Two Spirit, Trans, Intersex, Gender Non- Conforming, and HIV+ (LGBTQIA* GNC TS) immigrant prisoners and their families currently in detention centers, those that have been recently released from detention centers, and those at risk at entering immigration detention in the Tri-State Area (Connecticut, New Jersey, New York)."
